Wedding events
Woodland ceremonies. Lawn receptions. Five custom chandeliers. Your entire wedding within one private estate in historic Syon Park, May through September.

Your wedding, your canvas.

Why The Clementine for your wedding
Most venues give you a menu of choices. The Clementine gives you a canvas. A private seasonal estate open May through September, hosting a maximum of fifty events each year. When you book your date, the entire 4-acre plot is exclusively yours — no other events, no public access, no house style dictating your aesthetic.
The Georgian Glass House is your architectural centrepiece — stately arched windows, soaring ceilings, five custom 120-candle chandeliers, and production capabilities that allow for installations and creative visions most venues simply cannot accommodate. Beyond it, a Cedar Deck beneath a historic cedar tree, a secluded Walled Garden, the Wilderness Lawn, and mature private woodlands create a setting that moves naturally from ceremony to reception to celebration.
The Clementine works for every kind of wedding. Garden weddings where guests never leave the estate and the day flows from vows to champagne to dinner to dancing. Immersive production weddings where the blank canvas gives designers complete creative freedom to build theatrical environments. And UK destination weddings where Syon Park delivers a setting that feels worlds away while remaining minutes from Heathrow and central London, with the Hilton on the estate grounds for guest accommodation.
You choose your creative partners — caterers, florists, production teams — from our curated Event Partner list. These are suppliers who know every corner of this space and have created portfolio-worthy work here before. You get creative freedom. We ensure flawless execution. And with Extended Celebrations allowing up to fifteen hours, your wedding unfolds at whatever pace feels right — one continuous celebration or two distinct chapters with a transformation in between.

We visited twelve venues and none of them felt like us. The Clementine was different the moment we walked through the gates — the woodland, the Glass House, the sense that this could be anything we wanted it to be. Our florist said it was the most creatively exciting space she'd ever worked in.

Questions& answers
Are you licensed for civil marriages?
We are not currently licensed for civil ceremonies, however we are actively working with the marriage licence office to secure this. In the meantime, many couples hold their legal ceremony separately and host their celebration — including religious, cultural, or symbolic ceremonies — at The Clementine. Please get in touch and we can update you on the latest status.
Can we hold both the ceremony and reception on site?
Yes. The estate offers several distinct ceremony options: a partitioned space within the Glass House for a grand indoor setting, a relaxed intimate ceremony in the Walled Garden, or an open-air or dedicated marquee ceremony on the Wilderness Lawn for larger wedding productions. After the ceremony, guests flow naturally into reception drinks on the lawns, dining in the Glass House, and evening celebrations — all within the one private plot. Every space connects, making the transitions between moments seamless.
Can we have a naked flame (mandap weddings)?
We understand the importance of sacred fire ceremonies in Hindu weddings. Please discuss your specific requirements with our team so we can advise on how to accommodate this safely within the venue. We work with you and your event partners to find solutions that respect your traditions while meeting our safety obligations.
Can we schedule a rehearsal before the event?
Please discuss rehearsal requirements with your venue coordinator. We'll work with you to arrange access where possible, subject to the venue schedule and any events on adjacent days. Depending on the time required and intended use of venue services, there may be additional costs.
How does the wedding planning process work?
It starts with a virtual consultation where we explore your vision and build your personalised Clementine Blueprint. If it feels right, we'll arrange a site visit so you can experience the spaces in person. Once you book, we introduce you to our Event Partners so you can choose the creative collaborators whose vision aligns with yours. Your venue coordinator manages logistics throughout planning, coordinates site access for suppliers, and ensures every technical detail is handled. On your day, our on-site team ensures seamless execution.
Can we arrange cultural or religious wedding celebrations?
Absolutely. The Clementine is a blank canvas that welcomes celebrations of all traditions and cultures. Our Event Partner list includes specialist caterers experienced in kosher, Asian, and other cultural cuisine, and our production partners can accommodate specific ceremonial, decorative, and technical requirements. The space is designed to be transformed to reflect your vision, whatever form that takes.
Are children welcome at events?
Absolutely. The Clementine regularly hosts celebrations with guests of all ages. The outdoor spaces — lawns, woodland areas, and the Walled Garden — are naturally engaging for children, and the estate provides plenty of room for families to enjoy the day. Children's activity tents and dedicated entertainment zones can be arranged through our Event Partners.
Are there baby changing facilities?
Yes. The restrooms include a comfortable chill and sit-down space that can be used as a baby changing area. Please discuss any specific family requirements with your venue coordinator during planning so we can ensure everything is set up for your event.
Can we set up a children's area or activity zone?
Yes. The estate's multiple distinct spaces make it straightforward to create dedicated children's zones. Additional structures such as children's activity tents can be arranged through our Event Partners. Many clients use one of the lawn areas, the Cedar Deck, or a section of the Walled Garden for supervised activities and entertainment.
Can guests visit Syon House or the Great Conservatory?
Syon House and the Great Conservatory are managed separately by the estate. Wedding bookings at The Clementine include a 1-hour couples photoshoot in front of Syon House on event day. Access to other estate venues for your guests or event programme would need to be arranged directly with the Syon Park team — we can help facilitate that conversation.
Can we create a multi-day event or destination wedding weekend?
Yes. Consecutive dates can be booked subject to availability, allowing you to host multi-day celebrations — for example, a welcome dinner on Friday, your wedding on Saturday, and a farewell brunch on Sunday. The Hilton London Syon Park on the estate grounds provides guest accommodation within walking distance. Speak with our team about multi-day packages.
Is The Clementine suited to destination weddings?
Very much so. Syon Park delivers a setting that feels worlds away from the city while remaining approximately 15 minutes from Heathrow Airport. The historic grounds, English gardens, and Georgian Glass House provide a quintessentially British aesthetic that international and UK couples alike celebrate. With the Hilton London Syon Park on the estate grounds and numerous hotels in the surrounding area, guest accommodation is straightforward.
