Why The Clementine for corporate events
Most corporate venues offer a function room with AV equipment. The Clementine offers a climate-controlled Georgian Glass House with four acres of private grounds — dedicated outdoor space for breakouts, team activities, and networking that standard conference centres and hotels simply cannot provide.
The Glass House is a 25 by 50 metre production-ready space with stately arched windows, soundproofed ceilings, a pre-installed state-of-the-art sound system, and extensive weight-loading for complex rigging and installations. From theatre-style presentations to immersive brand activations, the technical infrastructure supports ambitious creative visions. Your production team has complete control.
Beyond the Glass House, the estate provides natural zones for multi-element programmes. Keynote sessions inside while the grounds transform into festival zones with food stations and woodland bars. Pre-event receptions on the Wilderness Lawn. After-dinner drinks on the Cedar Deck beneath a historic cedar tree. Multiple distinct areas create natural separation for different experiences without guests leaving site.
As a dry-hire venue, you choose your caterers and suppliers from our curated Event Partner list — essential for corporate clients with preferred partners or specific compliance requirements. Extended access windows accommodate early morning setup through late evening breakdown without the rushed timelines or venue restrictions that disrupt multi-element events. Private parking for 250+ vehicles, dedicated loading areas, and a green room for speakers complete the operational picture.

Is Wi-Fi available for guests and suppliers?
Wi-Fi is available for host and supplier use, with the option of extending coverage to the Wilderness Lawn. Guest Wi-Fi is not provided as standard. If your event requires guest connectivity, please discuss this with our team so we can explore options.
Can we brand the space?
Absolutely. The Glass House is designed as a blank canvas. High ceilings support complex rigging and installations, the lighting rig can be programmed for brand colours and sequences, and the clean architectural lines provide a striking backdrop for branded environments. Our production partners specialise in transforming the space to reflect your brand identity.
What about AV and production?
The venue comes with a pre-installed state-of-the-art sound system and soundproofed ceilings. Beyond that, our Exclusive Event Partners include production teams experienced in LED screen installation, projection mapping, advanced lighting programming, and full technical event production. The high weight-loading capability means there's very little that can't be rigged or installed.
Is there a green room for speakers or presenters?
Yes. The venue includes a green room and back-of-house space for speakers, event organisers, or talent. This is included in your venue hire.
Can we create a multi-day event or destination wedding weekend?
Yes. Consecutive dates can be booked subject to availability, allowing you to host multi-day celebrations — for example, a welcome dinner on Friday, your wedding on Saturday, and a farewell brunch on Sunday. The Hilton London Syon Park on the estate grounds provides guest accommodation within walking distance. Speak with our team about multi-day packages.
What are the rigging and weight-loading capabilities?
The Glass House has extensive weight-loading capabilities with high ceilings (4m eave, 8m apex). Specific load ratings should be discussed with the venue coordinator.
