With 120 candles across each of the five chandeliers, the Glass House holds 600 flames at full brightness — or a softer, warmer glow when dimmed to the mood of the moment.
The view through the windows
As dusk falls, the candlelight becomes visible through the Glass House's arched windows from the estate outside — a statement that no external lighting installation can replicate.

The five chandeliers suspended from the Glass House ceiling are bespoke — designed specifically for this space, at this scale. Each one stands 4m high and spans 3m wide: sweeping in proportion, timeless in design, and impossible to mistake for anything standard.
They function as the room's house lights — present from the moment the space is open, fully dimmable to suit the transition from a bright daytime reception to an intimate evening atmosphere. At full brightness, 600 candles fill the Glass House with a warmth that no artificial rig fully replicates. Dimmed, they create something quieter and more atmospheric still.
As dusk falls, the effect extends beyond the room itself. The candlelight glows through the arched windows and becomes visible from the estate outside — a visual statement that guests approaching the Glass House from the lawns or the Cedar Deck will see before they even step inside. They are, consistently, the element guests mention first.

Is there mobile phone signal on site?
Mobile signal is available on site, though coverage varies by network provider. Suppliers should consider backup options for connectivity-dependent systems.
What happens if a supplier causes damage to the venue?
Suppliers are liable for any damage caused during setup, event, or derig, covered under their Public Liability Insurance. Damage must be reported immediately; costs for repair/replacement will be charged.
Can suppliers stay on site during the event?
Yes. Suppliers remain on site as needed. Green room access depends on host designation. Suppliers not required in guest areas can remain in their vehicle or visit other public facilities on the estate.
What are the health and safety requirements for suppliers?
All suppliers must hold current Public Liability Insurance and Employers' Liability Insurance. RAMS may be required depending on the nature of the work.
Is there supplier parking?
Suppliers park in the guest car park. No vehicles are to be parked within the venue space, with the exception of vehicles required for guest services (e.g., golf carts) agreed in advance.
